Channel Manager

Software that synchronizes room rates, availability, and inventory across all distribution channels from a single interface. When a booking is made on any channel, the channel manager updates availability everywhere in real time to prevent overbookings.

Why it matters: Without a channel manager, hotels must manually update each OTA, the GDS, and their website separately — a process that is slow and error-prone. Channel managers eliminate double-bookings and ensure rate changes take effect across all channels simultaneously.
